Kelly Architecture & Planning has been commissioned to perform a wide range of architectural services, budgeting, scheduling, design and construction documents. KAP’s projects have included Emergency Departments, Imaging Suites, Cath Labs, Intensive Care Units, Kitchens, Nursing Units, Labor, Delivery and Postpartum Units, Surgical Suites, Central Processing and Senior Care Facilities. KAP has also designed many Outpatient Clinics and Medical Offices.

Kelly Maves has over 28 years of experience working extensively in Healthcare Architecture. Prior to starting KAP, Mr. Maves spent three years as the Facilities Director at Rideout Health working directly with the Board of Directors, Administration, Medical Staff, Clinical Staff, Engineering, Security, other design professionals, contractors and OSHPD. This experience provided a wealth of knowledge of how hospitals operate internally, and how schedules and budgets adversely affect final project outcome. This overall experience is applied to all KAP’s projects.
Steve Jones joined KAP in April 2007, bringing 26 years of experience in the architectural and engineering fields. Project management and engineering experience include Healthcare Facilities, School Facilities, Commercial, and Multi-Family Residential. With KAP, Steve has been instrumental in the success of numerous OSHPD/Healthcare projects.
Paul is an OSHPD “A” Licensed Inspector. He has been in the construction industry since 1979. Paul started out as being part of the staff at Valley Medical Center in San Jose and UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento before he went on to Assistant Project Manager and OSHPD Inspector of Record. Paul came to KAP from Stantec Architecture and has done plan review for Code compliance and constructibility issues for the past 8 years.

The Rideout Health Fountains Skilled Nursing Facility Expansion consists of construction of 44 additional beds to the existing 99 bed facility. 24 of the new beds licensed as Acute Rehab. Ancillary services include remodel of the existing kitchen, laundry facilities and out patient rehab services. Rideout Health The Garden’s Alzheimer’s Expansion Yuba City, CA
The Rideout Health Alzheimer’s Center Expansion Project consists of two separate phases which include the addition of 23 new resident beds to the existing 20 bed center. Square Footage: 13,500 New Addition of 9,600 SF and Renovations of 3,900 SF Completion of Project: January 2010 Construction Cost: $2.6M
Rideout Regional Medical Center Emergency Department Expansion Marysville, CA
The Rideout Regional Medical Center Emergency Department Expansion adds 5,000 SF to the existing 12,000 SF and creates: •

The Community Medical Center Ambulatory Care Center Project was performed as a Design / Build project with Quiring Construction. Project included a Pharmacy, Medical Records, Eye Clinic, Orthopedic Clinic, Family Practice, Womens Health, and the Ambulatory Administration Staff Facilities. OSHPD-3 and LEED Silver Certified Square Footage: 80,000 Completion of Project: February 2010 Construction Cost: $23.5M
Woodland Memorial Hospital Outpatient Imaging Center Woodland, CA
The Woodland Memorial Hospital OP Imaging Center consists of Two Phases of Design / Build Construction with Kimmel Construction. Phase 1 Consists of an Interior Remodel including O.P. MRI and a Future CT Scan. Phase 2 Consists New Expansion of Ultrasound, Waiting, Reception, Changing Rooms and a New Main Building Entrance and Patient Drop Off.
