About Keller Design Co

Hi I’m Amy L. Frazer and I’m the owner and creative director at Keller Design Co. When I was growing up in Cincinnati, after my Grandpa passed away, my Granny came to live with us. Welcome Granny!

We were crafty and settled into a makeshift studio in our basement on the old bumper pool table. We’d disappear into our basement studio for hours making things like pine cone wreaths, doll clothes, me learning to crochet.

Keller is German for basement and that’s where my granny and I used to craft when I was a kid. Keller is my space to play, to create products like greeting cards, to collaborate with friends.

Whatever I wanted to make Granny would say we’d figure it out. And that’s the attitude I like to bring into my art practice, life, and when I’m teaching workshops. Whatever it is, we can figure it out. Together.

A bit more about me… I’m an illustrator, surface pattern designer and embroiderer working in Portland, OR. I am a maker, crafts person and a lover of all things handmade. I have extensive experience in product design and development gained through working at companies like Nike, Inc., Old Navy, Silkcraft and Galerie Au Chocolat,

I enjoy designing objects as well as the prints, patterns and colors that adorn them. I love to travel and always have a bag packed for my next adventure to the mountains, the sea or a fun city to explore and gather inspiration.
