Many Of Our Processed Foods Contain Ingredients Banned In

Americans, for the most part, are a trusting lot. We like to think that the government watches out for us – if something isn’t good for us, the authorities would have quite a bit to say about it. I think that decades ago that was true. We set up protective agencies, health departments, investigative groups, and others. They were designed to be our watchdogs and we depended upon them to ferret out criminals, unearth fraud, point out the inconsistencies of lies, and protect us from tyrants.

But now things are different. According to Return to Now, a whopping 80 percent of the processed foods in our supermarkets contain ingredients that are banned in other countries. The book, Rich Foods, Poor Foods, the Ultimate Grocery Purchasing System, lists some of the worst. These include:
