HOW TO CREATE A CALM MEDITATION SPACE John Kaweske

As people look for calm and meaning in their lives, meditation has become more popular.

Identify your space Any space will do You don’t need to dedicate an entire room for meditation; a corner or spacious closet may work just fine for you.

Decorate Aim for minimalism and comfort

Decorate your space in a way that will create the environment you want. Stick to a few essential pieces to prevent the space from becoming too cluttered.

Furnish Add meditation supplies You might like to keep things simple and sit on a cushion, but some people incorporate singing bowls, prayer beads, and other items into their meditation spaces, depending on their style of meditation. Your space can function similar to an altar if you wish.
