The Small Press Fest (SPF) held its first annual celebration of small press, independent publishers and DIY media from Champaign-Urbana, IL and surrounding areas. The event was sponsored by the University Library (UIUC) and organized by its visual resources and outreach specialist, Sarah Christensen (with support from librarians at the Ricker Library of Architecture and Art; the History, Philosophy, and Newspaper Library; University Laboratory High School; and the School of Information Sciences).

SPF was held on April 13, 2019 at the Urbana-Champaign Independent Media Center (UCIMC).
