You have to clear the boxes beside “Monitor the system for low-level Rootkits.” To enable or disable the items “Monitor the system for Malware-like behavior” and “Monitor the system for unauthorized modifications,” select the “Action to take” drop down the list and choose the action you want Avast to take when any suspicious behavior takes place. You can also select the option “Auto Decide” to automatically choose the best option by Avast itself. Tap on the “Allow” button to occur behavior normally and tap on the “Block” button to restrict the behavior or “Ask” to get prompted to take an action.
4. You can select “Trusted Process” situated in the left pane to add any program that you want Avast to ignore. Click on the “Browse” button to choose the program file you want to trust and click “Open” to add it to the list. You can click on the “Delete” button to remove any program from the list. Click on the “Ok” button which is at the bottom of the window to return to Avast and also to save your Behavior Shield settings.
