This project is a result of collective information of a common routine I do through out the week. PRETTY DIRTY EXHIBITION

This exhibition has become a big collaborative event. My position during the exhibition was part of the branding team. We were in charge of the posters, flyers, and t-shirts. All of the visuals for our event was constructed together as a team. Having different artists with different strengths made the decisions and the project meaningful. My team and I decided to go with a simplistic design that caught the eyes of viewers. The turn out was a success.

MIGUEL VÁSQUEZ MASA Here you see a publication design is research information on one of the top graphic designers in Venezuela. Venezuela today has gone through sever economical changes that has left chaos all over the country. This designer amongst the few was capable of reaching their artistic potential during a time that almost seems impossible. The book was bounded with cardboard, screws, and duck tape. All objects are resourceful and relates to the designer’s characteristic.

Here is an identity I was asked to work on for a business consultant who wanted his own identity to use as a signature for himself. He was keen on having a clean elegant look with his initials. For that reason I stuck to this color theme. Black and white has always been known for their elegance and cleanliness. As for the lines in the “K” I wanted an edgy look and something that stood out in its own way other then leaving a traditional “K”. By doing that I created these lines to signify that specific letter.

Xpress has been an exciting project for an up and coming new business. I had a great opportunity to create the logo and all the print marketing for this company. Bringing this companies’ vision to life has been enjoyable. When I imagine xpress I thought of a fast service. Hence the swoosh that goes through the “press”. The client chose a navy and bright green color to show a loud color that stands out with a stabilized color that matches well.

WARM HEARTED CONNECTIONS Warm-hearted Connections is a non-profit organization in the USA that helps and uplifts the standards of education in Sub Saharan Africa by providing educational supplies and other pertinent resources. This organization reached out to me to recreate a logo for their organization. My focus was the colors of the countries’ (Malawi) flag that this non-profit is keen to helping. The flags colors are significant because of how patriotic the people of Malawi are. I have never seen such pride and hope from the people of this country, no matter their social standings. Other then the color I focused on symbolism. Such as, a heart and a sun (warmth). The hand stood for a touch of a warm heart. Just something I added to the design.
