PROGRAM
“One of the major benefits to being a member of the first class going through this program, is that tuition prices will be the same as those for the traditional MBA. Beginning with the second class of students, a new fee structure will be in place which will increase tuition for this particular MBA option.”

CURRICULUM The program’s curriculum will be lock step – all students will move through the program taking the same courses (two per semester) at the same time. Students will complete the program in about a year and a half (five semesters) with anticipated graduation for the first cohort being August of 2018. The Industry-Focused Hybrid MBA, starting at TTU in January with a healthcare cohort of 20 students, is designed for working professionals who aspire to leadership roles in their current fields. The degree is “hybrid” in nature because online content will be supplemented with monthly weekend meetings in Nashville – a true healthcare epicenter within the state of Tennessee – during which students will interact with faculty, peers and guest speakers. The year-and-a-half degree will be comprised of TTU’s core MBA courses, and some directed electives. The difference, explains Exploring the VisCube in Tennesse Tech’s iCube Lab
TTU’s College of Business Director of MBA Studies Kate Nicewicz, is the added value these students will gain studying alongside colleagues in their profession. “They’ll network, share knowledge and work together to identify how fundamental business knowledge can enhance their contributions to healthcare,” she says. The program has been designed to accommodate other industries outside of healthcare as well.
