DUBROVNIK Dubrovnik, this exceptional medieval stone walled city is one of Europe’s most sought after MICE destinations and with its UNESCO World Heritage listed sites, mild climate all year round and direct flights from over 50 ‘hubs’ it’s easy to see why. Example itinerary: DAY 1 Dubrovnik - The golden walled city of Dubrovnik is one of the most celebrated beauty spots of the Mediterranean. Dinner and overnight in hotel or under the old city walls in a special restaurant depending on time of arrival, maybe the Nautika or Gils. DAY 2 City sightseeing tour with local guide. Lunch on the boat KARAKA and cruise to nearby Elafiti Islands. Afternoon free for shopping and or kayaking with a guide aroudn the outside of the city walls ending in having a dinner in the typical restaurant in the Old town or in the surrounding villages of the town. DAY 3 Day trip to Montenegro. Sightseeing of Kotor (a town well-known for its nautical tradition an the famous merchant navy of Boka Kotorska) and Cetinje (once the seat of Montenegrin rules, today famous for the King Nichola's Museum). Short stop above Sveti Stefan and visit of the old town Budva where we would organise lunch in a typical restaurant, dinner on our return to Croatia in the famous winery near to Dubrovnik in the hinterland or in a exclusive restaurant in the old town . DAY 4 Transfer to airport. Here too we can arrange lunch or similar on route depending on when the flight leaves.We can organise a fullday excursion to Pelješac peninsula where they can have a wine tasting of the best Croatian red wines in the small wine cellars, and lunch/dinner in seafood restaurant in Ston, famous for best quality oysters and other shellfish. If the group is not interested in kayaking to island Lokrum or around the walls we can also recommend a mountainbike tour in Konavle in the hintereland with lunch in the famous restaurant KONAVOSKI DVORI or something similar.

Example itinerary:

DAY 1, Arrival Split - known as "the most beautiful town in the world". Once just a Diocletian palace, today one of the largest cities on the Adriatic. Dinner and overnight in hotel. DAY 2, City sightseeing tour with local guide and visit to one of the most beautiful Croatian galleries - Meštrović gallery. Afternoon free for shopping or for the excursion to Omiš, former pirates port at the gorge of the river Cetina where we can organise rafting down the Cetina River. Dinner in the typical restaurant in Split or along the Cetina River Gauge. DAY 3, Boatrip with lunch onboard across to the famous island of Brač to the little village of Pučišće or similar, dinner in Split or Trogir in a typical croatian KONOBA to try the local wine and specialities or Day trip to NP Krka and sightseeing in Šibenik. DAY 4, Transfer to airport As the airport is in Trogir, lunch can be organised in Trogir together with a visit to the famous croatian tailor who makes special mens suites that croatians have been wearing for centuries and that are tailormade .. very special suites that can be worn in 7 different ways and each time one thinks that you are wearing a different outfit..this can also be done the first day in order to order a suit if anyone is interested.

* Village of Žminj in the heart of Istria. Dinner with entertainment and folklore in konoba with typical Istrian food.

DAY 3 Halfday boat excursion to former Tito’s private resort- National Park Brijuni where you can meet the open nature animals from all around the world. At Brijuni you can enjoy both nature and history of this once exclusive royal and celebrity resort or, Fullday bus excursion called Istra tour which can include a panoramic view of the roman amphitheatre and then continue on to the famous Opatija Riviera ( known as the croatian Montecarlo with a tradition of over 170 years of tourism) sightseeing and walk through the famous park and to have lunch in the Opatija harbour and /or ending with dinner high above in the mountain surrounding Opatija and protecting it from harsh weather in the special restaurant called Draga di Lovrana, with typical croatian music and slow food dining (www.dragadilovrana.hr) DAY 4 Transfer to airport. - depending on time of departure here we can also maybe offer lunch on route to airport depending which airport and when departure is... OPATIJA A key geographic position in Central Europe and top conference and hotel amenities are helping business hotels in Opatija become quite popular for professionals. Example itinerary: Day 1 / Arrival to Opatija Upon arrival to Rijeka airport you will be transferred to your hotel in Opatija. We leave the hotel in order to explore this wonderful little town, starting with a walk along the Franz Joseph Promenade, which actually streches for more than 12 km from Lovran to Opatija and then on to the fishermens village of Volosko.Accompanied by our expert guide, we get an opportunity to see the magnificent villas and old hotels, where in the 19th Century the austrian elite spent their winters. Also included is , a visit to the Angiolina park, a host to amazing flora specimens as well as famous Villa Angiolina and the oldest hotel built in 1884 hotel Kvarner. After the lecture on development of tourism in Opatija, we will enjoy a coffee break in the renown cafe Imperial where Cehov was known to visit . Followed by free time for shopping or return to hotel, accompanied by your guide. Day 2 / Istra Tour (Pula, Rovinj, Poreč) Breakfast at hotel, full day tour of Croatian largest peninsula; Istria. Enjoy the beauty of green hills and numerous vineyards. First drive to Pula (about 1.5 hr drive) for the walking tour of Pula – a true jewel of Roman architecture, famous for its Roman Amphitheatre, one of the most elegant and best preserved in the world. Like the rest of the region, it is known for its mild climate, tame sea, and unspoiled nature. The city has a long tradition of winemaking, fishing, shipbuilding and tourism. Pula has also been Istria’s administrative centre since ancient Roman times. In the middle Ages the town walls were reinforced, and some of the Roman temples were turned into Roman Catholic churches. The Roman Amphitheatre, from the 1st and 2nd centuries, occupies a dominant position above the harbour. After the sightseeing of Pula, drive for short visits to Pore and Rovinj and then return to Opatija in the late afternoon Day 3 / Krk tour Transfer with bus to island of Krk. Sightseeing of Krk, the main town of the island. The following place to visit is Vrbnik, a town high on a cliff above the sea, well known for its golden Zlahtina wine. In Vrbnik you will have a chance to taste wine, with home-made smoked ham and sheep cheese. A private winery and wine cellar "Nada". The process of harvesting and wine production will be presented, followed by a light lunch with cheese and ham, and of course ''Vrbnička žlahtina''and other varieties of wines produced in the household. DAY 4 Transfer with the boat to Split and then to airport.
