It’s not just the kids that will be excited over the summer holidays, we’ve all got plenty to be excited about too!

From the fantastic Community Showcase free event on 19th August on Wickford High Street which many of us are looking forward to, to the new £7.5m grant that has been announced by Essex County Council to support residents’ health, the community of Wickford is well and truly thriving! All the best bits of news and events are in this issue for you to enjoy. If you’re a local charity, group or club and you’ve got something you want to share with your community then do get in touch because we always endeavour to support local organisations.

Don’t forget, your Wickford Town News magazine is always available to read online on top of the 12,000 copies which are printed and delivered through the doors of homes throughout the area.
