Cruz strived his way up to the top and now working in the culinary industry for 17 long years. Due to his consistent effort, hard work as an employee and as a leader, he managed to produce highly trained and competitive individuals in the F&B industry. Other than that, he became a professional personnel in guest accommodations and conducting training by learning and applying standard procedures until he became a certified trainer from front and back of the house. As part of his success, he became the manager of the Kusina Natin `To restaurant branch in Dubai and is now the Head manager of all the restaurants of Filipino Institute Group of Companies (FIGC) in the United Arab Emirates, as well as here in the Philippines.

“According to him, his most memorable experience as a manager was when I saw that I can effectively influence my colleagues, which makes them highly trained individuals in the F&B field. I want to inspire them to be the next future leader, and to be at their very best,” he said.

And to set as an example, Mr. Mark Anthony’s advice is that you should always think in every situation or problem there is always a solution, believe in yourself because if you don’t believe in yourself, how will your trainee believe in you?

On top of that, for him being a leader is a big responsibility but if you have dedication to your main goals and put in a lot of effort and passion. A successful leader is not about the recognition of having a great status in life. It’s how you influence your trainee to become a great leader.
