Without creativity, everything is plain and dull. And with every business, having a vivid presentation of its brand consists of one of a kind talent, skills, and imagination to put everything together until it produces an image of a business entity.

Ms. Rose Lily Valdes started as a librarian, and is now the manager of the creatives department of the Filipino Institute Group of Companies (FIGC). She shared that as someone who’s been leading a team for almost a year, she recalled that the best memory that she has is that whenever she shares her knowledge with her colleagues, it gives him a sense of fulfillment knowing and seeing his team getting that knowledge that they need to improve their skills and as an employee as well.

And by that, she shared that the most important reminder that you should remember as a leader is to have a good management style for you and for your people.

“Commit to helping your staff accomplish their own goals. Act like a leader before you become one. Learn to delegate. Adapt your management style to each team member. Be an active listener,” she said.
