Marco ARDIGO Seulement 10e aux chronos, Marco Ardigo est remonté 4e après les manches, avant de prendre le pouvoir en préfinale. Il a également parfaitement géré l’usure de ses gommes pour remporter le duel avec Jérémy Iglesias en finale KZ. Battu par Flavio Camponeschi au Championnat d’Europe en 2015, l’Italien du team Tony Kart-Vortex a bien l’intention de prendre sa revanche cette saison.
Solo decimo ai cronos, Marco Ardigo è risalito quarto dopo le gare, prima di prendere il potere in prefinale. Ha anche gestito perfettamente il consumo gomme per vincere un duello contro Jérémy Iglesias in finale KZ. Superato da Flavio Camponeschi al Campionato d’Europa in 2015, l’italiano del team Tony KartVortex è intenzionato a prendere la sua rivincita durante questa stagione.
Although Marco Ardigo only set the tenthquickest time he fought his way up to fourth after the heats before winning the pre-final. In the final he controlled his tyre wear perfectly winning his duel with Jérémy Iglesias in the KZ final. Beaten by Flavio Camponeschi in the 2015 European Championship, the Italian driving for the Tony Kart-Vortex team is determined to seek his revenge this season.

CAMPONESCHI La pluie des essais chronométrés n’a pas fait les affaires de Flavio Camponeschi (CRG-Parilla), qui a plongé en 21 position. Mais le Champion en titre n’a rien lâché pour progressivement faire son retour. A deux tours de l’arrivée, il a surpris Jérémy Iglesias pour monter sur la deuxième marche du podium. L’Italien a définitivement pris ses marques dans son nouveau team.
La pioggia delle prove cronometrate non hanno aiutato Flavio Camponeschi (CRG-Parilla), che è caduto in 21esima posizione. Ma il Campione non ha abandonato e perseverato fino alla fine. A due giri dell’arrivo, ha sorpreso Jérémy Iglesias per poi salire al secondo posto sul podium. L’italiano ha definitivamente preso i suoi riferimenti nella sua nuova squadra.
The rain in timed practice didn’t do Flavio Camponeschi (CRG-Parilla) any favours and he tumbled down to 21st place. But the reigning champion never gave up and carved his way up through the field. With two laps to go he slipped past Jérémy Iglesias to snatch second place. The Italian has finally found his feet in his new team.

Jérémy IGLESIAS Référence dans les catégories KZ1 et KZ2, l’équipe française CPB Sport a encore réussi une grande performance à Aunay les Bois. Dans la catégorie reine, Jérémy Iglesias a pris la tête de la finale avec autorité en début de course. S’il n’a pu résister à Ardigo puis Camponeschi, le pilote Tricolore a logiquement gagné sa place sur la troisième marche du podium.
Riferimento nelle categorie KZ1 e KZ2, la squadra francese CPB Sport ha ancora dimostrato alta efficienza ad Aunay les Bois. Nella categoria regina, Jérémy Iglesias ha preso la pole position in finale con authority ad inizio gara. Se non ha potuto resistere ad Ardigo poi a Camponeschi, il pilota tricolore a ovviamente vinto piazzandosi al terzo posto del podium.
French team CPB Sport, the benchmark in KZ1 and KZ2, again put on a stunning performance at Aunay-les-Bois. In the blueriband category Jérémy Iglesias took the lead at the start and dominated the early stages of the final. Although he was unable to fight off the attacks of Ardigo and Camponeschi the Frenchman clinched a well-deserved third place on the podium.

Ben HANLEY Mal qualifié (24e), Ben Hanley a pris le pari de faire l’impasse sur les manches, pour bénéficier de pneus encore frais en préfinale. Il a ainsi pu remonter de la 25e à la 6e place. En prenant un meilleur départ en finale, le Britannique du team Mad Croc aurait sans doute pu viser le podium, comme l’atteste son meilleur tour. Il termine toutefois 5e en KZ.
Pessima qualifica (24esimo), Ben Hanley ha scomesso di essere assente alle prove per godere di gomme ancora «fresche» in prefinale. Così è rissalito dalla 25esimo al sesto posto. Facendo una partenza migliore in finale, il britannico del team Mad Croc poteva mirare il podium, come lo dimostra il suo giro migliore. Finisce lo stesso quinto in KZ.
Ben Hanley had a poor qualifying session and ended up in 24th place so he decided to give the heats a miss to take advantage of fresh tyres in the pre-final. This helped him make a comeback from 25th to 6th place. The Brit made the best start in the final and the Mad Croc team driver could have aimed for a place in the top 3, as he proved by setting the fastest lap in the race. He finished fifth in KZ.

KZ2
Luca CORBERI Luca Corberi (Tony Kart-Vortex) faisait partie des grands favoris en KZ2 et il n’a pas déçu. Au volant d’un matériel particulièrement performant, il a réalisé le sans-faute en préfinale et en finale. Il emmène ici Fabian Federer (2e) et Leonardo Lorandi (4e). Suite à cette domination, une question se pose pourtant: les puissants teams d’usine ont-ils leur place en KZ2, une catégorie qui devrait rester la chasse gardée des équipes privées? D’autant qu’elle voit hélas son effectif diminuer d’année en année...

Al volante di un materiale particolarmente efficiente, ha realizzato un percorso senza errore sia in prefinale che in finale. Ha portato qui Fabian Federer (secondo) e Leonardo Lorandi (quarto). Di seguito a questa dominazione, una domanda si pone: i potenti team di fabbrica sono al posto giusto in KZ2, una categoria che dovrebbe rimanere la caccia protetta delle squadre private? Vedendo anche il numero di partecipanti diminuire ogni anno…
Luca Corberi (Tony Kart-Vortex) was one of the hot favourites in KZ2 and he didn’t disappoint. At the wheel of a particularly quick machine he made no mistakes in both the prefinal and the final. Here he leads Fabian Federer (2nd) and Leonardo Lorandi (4th). But this domination raises a question: do the powerful works teams have their place in KZ2, a category which should the playing field for privateers? All the more so as unfortunately their numbers continue to decline each year.

Paolo
BESANCENEZ En KZ2, Paolo Besancenez était sans doute le pilote le plus performant lorsque les conditions d’adhérence étaient optimums. Mais les gouttes de pluie éparses n’ont pas fait les affaires du Français du team Cédric Sport. Il a également perdu quelques places en finale lors d’une attaque trop agressive de Leonardo Lorandi. Mais il s’est battu comme un lion pour revenir sur la 3e marche du podium.
In KZ2, Paolo Besancenez era senza dubbio il pilota più efficiente quando le condizioni di aderenza erano ottime. Ma la pioggia sparsa non ha aiutato il francese del team Cédric Sport. Ha anche perso qualche posto in finale durante un attacco troppo aggressivo di Leonardo Lorandi.
In KZ2, Paolo Besancenez was certainly the quickest driver when the grip levels were at their best. But the French driver in the Cédric Sport team was caught out by a few drops of rain. He also lost a few places in the final when he made an over-aggressive attack on Leonardo Lorandi. However, he fought like a lion to snatch the third and final place on the podium.

New karts for the drivers in the Trophée Académie in 2016: an Exprit chassis and Vortex engine from the OTK Group plus Vega tyres. No fewer than 36 different nationalities make up the field of the Trophée Académie, which is celebrating its 7th season in 2016 and its second appearance on the Aunay-les-Bois international circuit.

BRADSHAW Le Britannique Callum Bradshaw n’est pas inconnu. En plus de participer au Trophée Académie pour la deuxième fois, il a terminé 2e de la Finale Internationale Iame 2015 au Mans, avant de faire partie des grands animateurs du X30 Challenge Europa 2016 à Castelletto. A Aunay les Bois, il a dominé l’épreuve de la tête et des épaules en s’imposant lors des manches qualificatives, de la préfinale et de la finale.
Il britannico Callum Bradshaw non è sconosciuto. Oltre alla sua partecipazione al Trofeo Academy per la seconda volta, è arrivato secondo alla Finale Internazionale Iame 2015 al Mans, prima di fare parte dei protagonisti del X30 Challenge Europa 2016 a Castelletto. A Aunay les Bois, ha dominato la prova in testa imponendosi durante le qualifiche, della prefinale e della finale
British driver Callum Bradshaw isn’t exactly a newcomer. In addition to taking part in the Trophée Académie for the second time, he came home second in the 2015 Iame International Final at Le Mans after which he was one of the front-runners in the 2016 X30 Europa Challenge at Castellotto. He dominated the race at Aunayles-Bois head and shoulders by winning the qualifying heats, the pre-final and the final.
