The Artists’ Library Proposal is an experiment of the DECENTRALISATION of knowledge. The Library seeks to DEMOCRATIZE learning by providingACCESS to creative spaces and facilties outside of the traditional gate-keeping institutions such as acedemia and the labour force. The community run artists’ library would activate the space above the train tracks, trans-forming it into a lively artistic community of galleriesand makerspaces.

In this depiction of the museum, I sought to pay homage to the facade’s referencing of the local pottery in its stonework facade.

By having the

materiality guide the composition, with the forms a

secondary

consideration,

the

collage

became more about material selection and less about their manipulation to achieve verisimilitude
