Ryan was a passive participant in classroom lessons, but developed into an active learner when introduced to Boardmaker Current Events! The structure of Current Events allowed Ryan to engage in interactive activities on both the computer and the SMART Board. He achieved higher-order thinking skills by connecting the topics to real-life experiences appropriate for his age.
