Taiwan International Boat Show" and "Taiwan International Fastener take place biennially at the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center. The two iconic trade shows represent local industry and their business strength.
Kaohsiung Exhibition Center was proud to be the venue of "The 59th ICCA Congress" in 2020. During the COVID outbreak, KEC worked swiftly and closely with Kaohsiung City Government and ICCA Headquarters to turn the South Hall into a safe and hygienic meeting room for ICCA's first-ever hybrid congress. The venue's smooth and fast internet connectivity allowed clear signal to stream in and out of various regional hubs that joined the iconic meeting. A total of 1,500 participants attended the congress, a record high in ICCA's history.
In 2022, the "Creative Expo Taiwan" took place outside Taipei City for the first time since 2010. Kaohsiung Exhibition Center hosted the Expo's Creative and IP licensing sessions, attracting more than 150,000 visitors during the 5-day event, which was possible due to the Center's vast space and convenient location.
