Director of College Scouting ('17) Director of College Scouting ('18) Ryne Nutt enters his ninth season with Kansas City in 2018. He was promoted to Director of College Scouting in 2018 after serving one season as Assistant Director of College Scouting (2017). In his current role with the Chiefs, he assists General Manager Brett Veach in all aspects of the scouting of college football players across the country. He also helps

oversee the team's staff of out-of-town scouts. Nutt was promoted to Assistant Director of College Scouting in 2017 after serving five seasons as an area scout (2012-16), covering the West/Northwest, Northeast and Southeast parts of the country. Prior to being promoted to an area scout in 2012, Nutt spent his first two NFL seasons as a scouting assistant with Kansas City (2010-11). Prior to joining the Chiefs, Nutt spent one season as the tight ends coach at Wagner College (2009). In 2008, he served as the defensive line coach at Iona College. After spending four seasons playing offensive line for Central Connecticut State and graduating Summa Cum Laude, Nutt served as a summer camp volunteer coach for the Blue Devils. Nutt was a Mid-Major All-American on the field, as well as an academic All-American his junior and senior years.  Education: Central Connecticut State (2007).
