FABRIC instructions CRYSTALS The crystals used are finest quality CRYSTALLIZED Swarovski Elements. All items in this unique collection are made to order; firstly printed/embroidered and then crystals attached individually by hand in the U.K. KANDOLA reserve the right to extend any lead time due to production. Care should be taken when cleaning fabric, dry-cleaning recommended. The area where crystals are placed must not be ironed or heat-treated as this will result in the movement or removal of the crystals. A WORD ABOUT SILK Silk is a natural fabric and any variations or irregularities in the weave can in no way be considered defective but are part of the character of the fabric. Colour variations may occur from roll to roll.We can not guarantee an exact colour match from order to order. Care must be taken during stain removal and furnishing treatment.
UK Domestic Upholstery Regulations FLAME CODES The Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988 No 1324 Flame Retardant Codes. A – Resistant to smouldering cigarette when tested over standard foam. B – Resistant to smouldering cigarette when tested over standard foam plus 2.5oz polyester wrap. C – Resistant to smouldering cigarette when tested over low density CMHR foam 24/26kg. E – Resistant to smouldering cigarette when tested over low density CMHR foam 24/26kg plus 4oz polyester wrap. G – Schedule 3 interliner resistant to ignition source 5 tested over standard foam. H – Match resistant. K – For domestic upholstery on furniture made after Dec.31, 1949 this fabric needs to be back coated. L – Trimming exempt from regulations. M– Exempt fabric. Must be used with a schedule 3 interliner. N – Not yet tested. Refer to us if required for use in domestic upholstery. Z – Not to be in domestic upholstery.
