A Bridlewood street was shut down on June 8 by Ottawa police after a full-grown male black bear was discovered sitting in a tree in a resident’s backyard. Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources conservation officers tranquilized the bear and transported it to an undisclosed location 80 to 100 kilometres away
