Ivan Leroy Willhite was born on April 8, 2015 at FirstLight Health System. He weighed six pounds, 15 ounces and was 19 inches long. His parents are Garth and Cassandra Willhite of Pine City. Ivan is welcomed home by big sister Loriana, 7, Landon, 7, and Alec, 18 months. His grandparents are Jamie and Danyel Bonander of Pine City, Mike Jackson of Hutchinson, Garth Sr. and Carla Willhite of Sandstone.
Thor Lauren Elizabeth Thor was born on April 8, 2015 at FirstLight Health System. She weighed seven pounds, 12 ounces and was 20-1/4 inches long. Her parents are A and Kayla Thor of Mora. Lauren is welcomed home by big sister Ava. Her grandparents are Jim and Kathy Richter of Mora, and Xong and Mai Thor of Marshall.
Johnson Olivia Cecelia Johnson was born on April 1, 2015 at FirstLight Health System. She weighed five pounds, 14 ounces and was 19-1/2 inches long. Her parents are Thomas Johnson and Laura Budke of Mora. Olivia is welcomed home by big brothers William and Anthony. Her grandparents are Penny Gardner of Skog, Mary Budke of Mora, and Craig Johnson.
Gaede Macy Jo Gaede was born on March 30, 2015 at FirstLight Health System. She weighed eight pounds, nine ounces and was 21-1/2 inches long. Her parents are John and Cassie Gaede of Sandstone. Macy is welcomed home by big brothers Jack, 4, and Paul, 2. Her grandparents are Bill and Becky Gaede of Sandstone, Bernice and the late Blair Piechowski of Browns Valley, Minnesota.
Stanley M. Saumer Stanley Martin Saumer, of Braham, passed m away Sunday, May 3, 2015, a at the age of 75. a He was born on Jan. 31, 11940, in Royalton Townsship, Pine County, son of Martin and Nettie (CarlM sson) Saumer. Stanley attended Grasstton and Braham schools, and Pine City Catholic a School in summer. He began working as a f abricator for Flower City Agricultural Metals in 1961 and worked there 28 years until his retirement. In 1967 he married Darlene Lindell. They became the parents of Shelly and David. Darlene passed away in 1979. In 1981 he married Shirley Milstead, who brought three children to the family. T hey would have been married 34 years this July. Stanley loved to fish, hunt, bowl, play pool and loved talking about old cars he’d had over the years. He was one of the first members of the Braham Moose Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Shirley; five children: Tammy (Sheldon) Kadlec, Shelly (Vince) Pavlak, Dennis (Nita) Fenner, John (Deb) Fenner, David (Shelly) Saumer; 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; his sister JoAnn (Don) Nichols, and many other relatives and friends. For all family and friends to sh are memories of Stan, please join us for a Memorial Gathering on May 16, 2015, at Braham Moose Lodge at 12 p.m.
