Louann G. Paulson Louann Gail Paulson of Grasston died peacefully at home on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2016. She was 74 years old. She was born on June 7, 1942, in Braham to Clarence and Ruth (Moline) Thunberg. She grew up on the family farm in Grasston and attended school locally. She met Gilbert Lucht a and they were united in m marriage on Feb. 7, 1958. To t this union three sons were b born, Laurel, Lane and Lonn The Lucht family made ny. t their home in Braham and l later Grasston. She was awarded her s secondary school equival lency certificate on March 3 1971. After graduating 30, f from the Anoka-Hennepin p practical nursing program o July 10, 1975, she earned on her license on Sept. 18, 1975. She worked at clinics and hospitals in Mora, Cambridge and Spring Lake Park. Everett Paulson came into her life in 1980 and the two married on June 20, 1981. She welcomed his three children into her life; Mark, Tod and Susan Paulson. They built a log home in Bethel and later moved to Grasston where they built their dream retirement home. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Grasston. She enjoyed being a wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed having dinner and coffee with family and friends. With close friends, she went to the casino often, made many trips out of state and gathered together for lobster every New Year’s Eve at one of their homes. She was preceded in death by husband, Everett; his parents, Clarence and Matie Paulson; her parents; step-father, Olaf Hellzen; brother, Duane Thunberg; sisters, Arlene Swanson and Iris Lindblad and brothers-in-law, Gerald Swanson, Clayton Sorkilmo, Jim Foster and David Olson. She is survived by children, Laurel Lucht of Braham, Lane Lucht of Reston, Virginia, Lonny (Nancy) Lucht of Pine City, Mark Paulson of Trade Lake, Wisconsin, Tod Paulson of Trade Lake, Wisconsin and Susan (Jim) Wilkus of Underwood; grandchildren, Brandon (Tracy) Lucht, Tony (Angie) Lucht, Diana (Andrew) Johnson, Casey Lucht, Sully Lucht, Ellen Ferry, Spencer Ferry and Emily Paulson; great-grandchildren, Caleb Lucht, Nicholas Lucht, Alexis Lucht, Maxx Johnson and Sawyer Johnson; sister, Barbara Sorkilmo of Otsego; sisters-in-law, Carole Paulson of Siren, Wisconsin, Jean Foster of Roberts, Wisconsin and Sandra Olson of Waskish; brothers-in-law, Hubert Lindblad of Naples, Florida and Joseph (Judy) Paulson of New Richmond, Wisconsin; close friends, Marge Peterson, Gale and Alice Paulus; cat, Angel as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Her funeral service was held on Friday, Dec. 9, at Hope Lutheran Church in Grasston. Rev. James Sodergren officiated. Music was provided by Elaine Keehr and Ellen Ferry. Pallbearers were her grandchildren. Burial was at Wood River Cemetery in Grantsburg, Wisconsin. Arrangements were handled by Rock-Ingebrand Funeral Home of Braham. Denise G. Amundson Denise G. Amundson of Ogilvie died on Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016 at her home. She was 61 years old. A gathering of friends will be held from 2 – 4 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 19, 2016, at the Akkerman-Ingebrand Funeral Home in Mora. A complete obituary will follow next week. Larry O. Jones Larry O. Jones died on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016 in his home in Mora. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016, at the Cambridge Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 2 p.m.

She weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces and was 21 1/2 inches long. She is welcomed home by siblings Elsie, 4 and Evelyn, 2. Grandparents are Rodney and Pamela Peterson of Isle and David and Elana Samuelson of Isle.
Amelia A. Schultz Amelia Ann-Marie Schultz was born on Monday, Nov. 21, 2016, at FirstLight Health System of Mora to Brooke Holter and Devin Schultz of Pine City. She weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces and was 20 inches long. She is welcomed home by sibling Malachi, 3. Grandparents are Doug and Lynea Holter of Mora and Derek and Lisa Schultz of Pine City.
Kenneth I. Eardley Kenneth Isahia Eardley was born on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016, at FirstLight Health System of Mora to Victoria Miller and Richard Eardley of Milaca. He weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long. He is welcomed home by siblings Caylen Eardley, 5, Isabella E., 2 and Aubrey E., 1. Grandparents are Cheyenne of Nebraska, Roger of Georgia and Jon Eardley of Mounds View.
Jonah R. Siler Jonah Roy Siler was born on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016, at FirstLight Health System of Mora to Kyla Autumn Thompson of Isle. He weighed 7 pounds, 13.6 ounces and was 21 1/4 inches long. Grandparents are Martin and Marcia Siler of Isle.
