Cora J. Morgenweck Cora Julia Morgenweck of Ogilvie died in her home on Tuesday, March 8, 2016. She was 79 years old. She was born April 14, 1936 to Ray and Mamie (Dee) Luglan in a cabin on Ann Lake. She attended school District No. 60 in Ann Lake T Township and graduated ffrom Ogilvie High School in 11954. After graduation she went tto St. Paul to work and later w worked at Cargill as a secrretary. On May 13, 1955 she w was united in marriage to A Arnold Morgenweck of Ogilv vie. They lived in Minneapollis until 1962 when they purc chased her home farm and they lived there the rest of her life. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and served on the alter guild for many years. She enjoyed working in the garden and with her flowers. She did a lot of canning, cooking and baking. She enjoyed trips to the Grand Ol’ Opry and Branson, Mo. She was preceded in death by her parents and infant daughter. She is survived by husband of more than 60 years, Arnold; children, Joan (Dan) Fladebo of St. Stephen, Julie (Mike) Terpstra of St. Stephen, Jerry (Heidi) Morgenweck of Ogilvie, Jim Morgenweck of Mora, Keith (Amy) Morgenweck of Oakdale; grandchildren, Todd, Lisa, Bobby, Ricky, Jennifer, Ashley; great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Zoe, Eve, Austin, Chase, Deysia; sister, Hellen (Lloyd) Carda of Ogilvie; brother-in-law, Don (Irene) Morgenweck of St. Louis Park; other relatives and friends. Her funeral service was held on Friday, March 11 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Ogilvie with Rev. Marc Freiberg Sr. Music was provided by Donna Angermeier. Pallbearers were Todd Fladebo, Bob Terpstra, Rick Terpstra, Mike Dreher, David Carda and Deidrich Dee. Burial was at Oakwood Cemetery in Mora. Donald K. Dahl Donald K. Dahl of Chisago City died on Saturday, March 12, 2016 in his sleep. He was 81 years old. He was born in 1934 to Oscar and Gudrun Dahl in Dawson, Minn. He graduated from Braham High School in 1952 and later sserved in the U.S. Army w with the military police. After his service to our c country he married Joan a and they were married for 550 years. He worked for the c cities of Mora and Richfield ffor many years in public w works. He enjoyed hunting a and fishing. He was an avid V Vikings fan and season ticke et holder for 30 years. He was preceded in death b by wife, Joan; brother, Harlan Dahl; parents, Oscar and Gudrun Dahl. He is survived by children, Dan (Jennifer) Dahl, Kris (Hassane) Bensami, Eden (Mike Kyllonen) Torres and Mike (Paula) Torres; siblings, Adeline, Arlene, Lorraine and Glen; grandchildren, Bethany, Kaitlyn, Amina, Alex, Sophia and Olivia; great-grandchildren Raina and Leo. A celebration of life will be held at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom on Friday, March 18, 2016 from 4 - 6 p.m. Condolences may be expressed online at www.grandstrandfh.com.
LeRoy V. Tamsen LeRoy “Lee” Vertus Tamsen died Monday, March 7, 2016 after a long illness. He was 73 years old. He was preceded in death by parents, Oscar and Mae (DeWitt) Tamsen; sister, Linda and grandson, Jon. He is survived by sister, B Barb Rambo; children, Kell (Schoenewe), Kimberley li ( (Jim) Overholser, David, a and Kristine (Brian) Overt turf; special companion and f friend, Judy Colburn; niece and nephews; grandchiles d dren and great-grandchild dren. A celebration of life will be h held Saturday, April 9 at the r residence of his son David Tamsen: 528 Jewell Street Mora, MN 55051 from 2-4 p.m. Arrangements were entrusted to Akkerman-Ingebrand Funeral Home in Mora.

Josie Marie Galvin was born on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at FirstLight Health System of Mora to Robert and Stephanie Galvin of Askov. She weighed 8 pounds, 7 ounces and was 21 1/2 inches long. She is welcomed home by sibling Tommy.
Graham Grabowski was born on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at FirstLight Health System of Mora to Andrew and Jenna Grabowski of Ogilvie. He weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces and was 20 inches long. He is welcomed home by sibling Addy, 3. Grandparents are Mike and Cathy Bergren of Ogilvie and John and Sue Grabowski of Mora.
Robert A. Fast-Horse, Jr.
Maddox Colton Ruse was born on Friday, March 11, 2016 at FirstLight Health System of Mora to Auston Ruse and Charlotte Joiner of Mora. He weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long. He is welcomed home by sibling Makailyn Ruse, 9. Grandparents are Jim and Kim Sawatzkey of Mora, Dave and Kim Joiner of Colorado and Donna Betts of Mora.
