Kamsack Playhouse Theatre to re-open at full capacity After a prolonged forced shutdown, the Kamsack Playhouse Theatre will be opening to the public once again and the board members of the non-profit society are thrilled that regulations have lifted to allow full capacity attendance. Kamsack’s own Brenda Wy l l y c h u k s i t s a s c u rrent president of the volunteer board that includes Jack Koreluik, Shelley Filipchuk, Nathan Maciborski, Karen Tourangeau, and Dustin Wilson.
Beginning this Friday and Saturday, August 13 and 14, the beloved local theatre will be screening F9: The Fast Saga – the ninth film in the series of the runaway Fast and Furious franchise that boasts eight sequels, a spinoff movie, multiple video games, an adult coloring book, a Funko board game, and one animated Netflix series Fast and Furious Spy Racers - featuring a Mr. C l e a n - l i k e c a r t o o n Vi n Diesel. The PG rated film begins each night at 7:30
p.m. and runs just short of two-and-a-half-hours. F9 Director Justin Lin is a Taiwanese-American film director whose films have grossed $2 billion worldwide. According to his IMDb (Internet Movie Database) biography, he is best known for his work on Better Luck Tomorrow, The Fast and the Furious 3 t o 6 a n d S t a r Tre k Beyond.
