Architectural and landscape designer with prior education and work experience in both fields. I am aiming to join a collaborative design team to add to and learn from. Most importantly, use and expand my knowledge/skills to bridge both fields throughout my career. As I see the line between inside and outside is blurring, a built environment as a whole would function as an ecosystem with symbiotic relationships.

The Master Plan creates a cohesive experience with an intuitive circulation pattern in which existing and future gardens can be seamlessly integrated. The initial phase Arboretum & Pond
of the Master Plan implementation aimed to create a central core garden connecting CANR’s high use buildings that will immediately improve the experience and offer an abundance of educational opportunities for the site’s primary users that include students, faculty, and staff.
Working on this project was not merely an rendering job, I

The Creamery is considered a destination for students and staff , as they serve local dairy products.
The Creamery / After It was important to redesign the space surrounding The Creamery as it is visited frequently. A planting design was implemented, as well as adding a green lawn instead of the parking lot.

I was part of a team responsible of redesigning the plaza of Chase Tower in Downtown Dallas, Texas. The main design objectives were to enhance the “curb appeal of the plaza, mainly make the space more open and inviting.
I was mainly responsible for creating a detailed 3D model with exact grade change, as well as rendered views, rendered video, and 360 interactive views to impress the

client (Virtual Reality). We worked closely with a team of Architects from Boka Powell (Dallas) over a period of time to reach a mutually desired design, as they were responsible for the interior makeover of the tower and some design elements on in the plaza.

Work Samples \ Children’s Garden The Children’s Garden was part of the greater botanical garden in Columbus, Georgia. I was given a task of rendering an idea rather than a fully fledged design to be part of a fundraising campaign for the garden. The project leader orally and visually, through images, narrated the ideas to guide the design and the rendering.
The garden design was aimed to keep the visitors (children) interacting with it. For example, stone pads on water, where kids can hop across, or a treehouse to climb.

Waterfall, wood cabin, and children’s playing area were major design elements to sell the garden.

This project was an entry for a design competition for Mandarin Oriental hotel in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Leo Daly, the architect brought our team as landscape architects to design the ground level, main deck, and 2 pool decks. Both our teams (Leo Daly and Studio Outside) won the design competition for Mandarin Oriental.
I was responsible for SD drafting and rendering of the plans, as well as playing a role in some of the design elements, for example the shading structures and the paving pattern.

This residence was one of the more complex projects during my time at Studio Outside, as most design elements were custom designed to her needs. The owner was very specific about almost each detail of the design, which was a great experience to work closely with her and understand her needs, as well as working with contractors and the builder.
I was working under the project leaders coming up with design ideas and crafting the design details. I was mainly responsible for drawing all the construction set, stone shop drawings, and detailed 3D model.

I volunteered to take the task of proposing a design for the trail signage, furniture, and the logo. The design was to be used by the each student in their trail segments. The trail segments needed to have a brand. Hence,
40 Mile Loop Signage Design Project Portland \ Oregon 2014
challenge was to give the collection of furniture a distinct feature/form and color. The color was voted on by the whole studio, was not a personal choice. The form design has a distinct modular design with 30 or 60 degrees inclination. Sharp edges have been rounded for safety. Modular design means that a piece of signage can

purpose.

The proposed materials for the signage, furnishing and logo are brushed-colored stainless steel and tempered glass. Both materials are resistant to environmental conditions, bumps, hits, and vandalism. They are most likely to survive harsh conditions on the trail.

Layout Plan The National Zoo was to replace the old Giza zoo in downtown Cairo, and to implement new design ideas for the comfort of the animals, yet facilitate the amusement of the visitors.
\ 50
Ground Level View
Section A-A
The Zoo was to be more than just a zoo, it was to be an educational center, and a place where human beings can enter and appreciate the wildlife.
Canopy Level View
VERTICAL ZOO The Vertical Zoo is the area equivalent to 2 soccer fields heavily planted with rainforest trees, encapsulated in an oval shape glass sphere. The Vertical Zoo would be the habitat for the rainforest species. The rainforest mainly consists of three vertical levels depending on the tree heights. Each level would be the habitat of a specific species. For example, the highest level would include a certain type of birds, the second lower level would include another type of apes, and lastly the
Isometric Layout
lowest level would be a habitat for reptiles and amphibians.

The design was an effort to win a design competition for a design parklets. I was playing with forms and ideas, and wanted create and ergonomic shape of moulded concrete with different seating settings.
The design would have a green “roof” with the end serving as a tree pot. The slanted “roof” increases the Plan View
run of the green area, which can give more space for people to lay down or sit.
\ 56
This design is more of a playful undulating waves of bent wood with colored sides. The purpose was to create interesting spaces and “slides, where kids can play under or grown ups can relax on top of.
