He plans to attend graduate school this fall. n Ace Keoni Olszowka ’06 graduated from Rocky Mountain College in May 2009 with a bachelor of science degree, with a major in computer science and a minor in business. n Nine members of the class of 1945 and their guests gathered in May for their annual luncheon meeting at the Elks Lodge in Waikïkï. New class officers serving a two-year term are: Norman Bode, president; Pilialoha Hopkins Oliver, vice-president; Gladys Rodenhurst, secretary; Elizabeth Kauka, treasurer; Adolph Bartels, Milton Beamer, Francis McMillan and Joy Criss members-atlarge, and Pat Cobb-Adams, immediate past president.
n KS ’83 has started to organize the Lü‘au Committee for Alumni Week 2012. Chairpersons are Richard “Bully” Pinto and Lee Henry-Chang. Class of 1953 n As a community service project, the KS Class of 1953 recently visited and entertained patients at the Aloha Elderly Care Home in Pauoa Valley on O‘ahu. The patients sang along and danced with members of the class.
