Approach & Circulation
- The Architect of the Wall House has used very interesting materials which are cheap and affordable and can get easily.
Groung floor
- The jack arch inside are made of potters. - They are interlocked in each other and filled with mortar. - It doesn’t require any support, the caternary takes the forces.
- The play in the volumes is such that it becomes hard to distinguish where the moide ends outside and where it begings. - Long steps create a further demarcation of spaces and they continue on the outside into the garden. - Bathroom is set in open to sky design with smooth merging with the interior and external spaes & landcaped in manner which gives it both a mordern and a regional appearance.
- The filler slab are made of very thin beams and potters. It is also known as waffle slab. - The louvered windows are of ferrocement
- The bricks used are random hand made of candical size.
