ववमिै: शब्दवाररलभ: |
कृत्स्नं व्याकरणं प्रोक्तं
पाणणननं सूत्रकारञ्
त्मै पाणणनये नम: ||
प्रणतोsस््म मुननत्रयम ् ||
My salutation to Panini, who taught the entire grammar system after understanding that Maheshvara-sutras given from Shiva himself.
I salute the three sages: Panini who composed the sutras. Vararuchi who composed vartika; and Patanjali who wrote the Mahabhashyam.
तमश् ाज्ञानजं लभन्नं त्मै पाणणनये नम: || Greetings to Panini, who purified the voice of the people with such abundant
