By plane
Srinagar International Airport receives direct weekly flights. Almost all local airlines operate weekly flights to Srinagar from Delhi and other major cities in the country. Srinagar Airport has located 14 km from the city.
Indian Airlines and Jet Airways operate daily scheduled flights on the Delhi-Leh route, as well as three times a week on the Delhi-Srinagar and Delhi-Jammu routes and twice a week DelhiChandigarh.
