JAMES DRZEWIECKI– HEAD COACH Drzewiecki arrived in 2015, tasked with starting the men's soccer program from scratch - the third time in his young career he was hired to start a varsity program. He wasted little time putting his experience to use, guiding the Wildcats to a 9-1 record in the program's initial season with a team dominated by freshmen. Along the way, the Wildcats were ranked as high as #13 in the USCAA and finished third in the nation in goals against average (0.6) and seventh in goals per match (4.1). The team also boasted the third highest winning percentage in the nation (.900). Under his tutelage, freshman striker Jalen Jackson was named the program's first USCAA National Player of the Week and freshman center back Dominic DiGiacomo was named to the 2015 NCCSIA College Division All-State Men's Soccer Second Team - one of only four freshmen statewide to be honored. Now entering his 10th season as a head coach and 12th season overall, Drzewiecki has proven adept at developing new programs into legitimate contenders. Following a year spent as an assistant at Middle Georgia College in Cochran, GA, Drzewiecki earned his first head coaching job in 2006. He arrived that summer in Donaldson, IN, tasked with creating the men's soccer program at NJCAA affiliate Ancilla College. By 2008, he had earned MCCAA Coach of the Year honors, and one year later led his team to the NJCAA Region 12 semi-finals. During his tenure, he posted the highest conference winning percentage in the department's history. His team's GPA was over 3.0 at the time of his departure. His overall record at Ancilla College was 40-39-5. In 2012, Drzewiecki moved on to begin another program from the ground up at NAIA program Purdue University Calumet. Despite working without athletic scholarships for much of his tenure, his Calumet teams made consistent progress over three seasons and reached ten wins and the CCAC Conference Semifinals in 2014. A finalist for 2014 CCAC Coach of the Year, Drzewiecki made an impact off the pitch as well. His team's GPA was 3.07, it was selected as the Most Spirited Team on campus, and it featured the winner of the John Friend Award, given to the most wellrounded student-athlete in the department. He also served on numerous committees, including representing athletics on the Alumni and Multicultural Campus Boards. His overall record at Purdue University Calumet was 21-235. A 2004 Purdue Calumet graduate, Coach Drzewiecki holds a NSCAA National Diploma and a USSF "D" License. He resides in Rock Hill, SC, with his wife, Meghan, and daughter, Sophie.

KEV SUMMERS– ASSISTANT COACH

FIL WILKISON– ASSISTANT COACH

Summers comes to Johnson & Wales with over 15 years of coaching experience. A fixture of the Charlotte soccer scene since relocating to the Queen City in 2008, Summers has established himself as one of the top young coaches in the state, winning numerous accolades along the way.

Wilkinson was hired by Johnson & Wales men's soccer in 2015 as the team's 2nd Assistant and Goalkeeper Coach.

As part of the Charlotte Soccer Academy, Summers was honored in 2014 as the Greater Charlotte Club Coach of the Year after leading all four of his premier teams to the NCYSA State Cup finals that season. He was previously named the Charlotte Soccer Academy's "Academy Coach of the Year" in 2009. He most recently served on Charlotte Soccer Academy's United States Soccer Development Academy staff, helping the U18 side qualify for the USSDA Playoffs in 2015. Summers holds his FA Coaching Level 2 and UEFA B Part 1 licenses in coaching. He previously worked for Challenger Camps, Charlotte Soccer Club, and Major League Soccer Camps before joining Charlotte Soccer Academy.

Wilkinson has been coaching for 12 years, earning his start at Nevilles Cross New College in Durham, England, as the school's head coach. He has worked with Major League Soccer as a youth camp instructor and has also served as head coach for English clubs Croxdale FC and New Brancepeth FC. In 2011 he relocated permanently to the United States to become the Director of Coaching at South Iredell Soccer Association, a position he still holds today. Wilkinson holds numerous coaching certifications, including the FA Level 1, Futsol Level 1, FA Level 2, NSCAA Level 1-6, NSCAA Goalkeeper Level 1 and 2, and USSF F, E, and D diplomas. A native of Durham, England, Wilkinson currently resides in Mooresville, NC.

A native of Welwyn Garden City, England, Summers currently resides in Indian Land, SC, with his wife, Rebecca.
