BAD CADILLAC for the next 12 months.”

Classic rock is a genre of music that’s a favorite amongst many. Between the beats, the lyrics, and the sounds, the good vibes keep people moving in their seats, and dancing on their feet. A night out at the bar is a great way to catch up on some of that good ole’ classic music, and if you have been dying to hear some new, original classic rock songs, then a show by Bad Cadillac is one you don’t want to miss.

So where did the guys come up with the name Bad Cadillac? Well, the guys – who are all from the NWI area - say it got started with a song and a band concept for an original album written by Terry. Now those songs are all a part of their debut album. “Along with all original songs I wrote, Bill contributed three of the original songs on the CD. Josh also did some writing as well, in fact his first attempt at writing landed him a song on the CD.”

Bad Cadillac is a variety band that plays primarily classic rock music with strong roots. Their philosophy is “a good song is a good song” regardless of the genre – and if they like it, they can do it justice will play it. The main drive for the band is original music and they are excited to announce some big news to their fans. “Our debut CD is dropping in April,” said Darrell Terry, frontman and guitar player for Bad Cadillac. “We want people to dance the night away and see that the band has developed a sound that is unique to them.”

Bad Cadillac is a band that takes pride in the fact that every member contributes so much and they get along so well- a true well-oiled machine! In addition to original music, you can catch Bad Cadillac covering songs from great artists like Tom Petty, Bob Seger, John Mellencamp, Stevie Ray, Steve Miller, George Jones and Merle Haggard. “It really depends on the audience that is in front of us that drives the energy and type of songs we will pull out for each show.”

From the song writing to each individual member – Terry, along with Bill Hayden on Keyboards, Joe Cyprian on Bass, Izzy Martinez on Drums, and Josh Neal Harmonica; each member brings their individual influences and experience to the project. “We’ve been performing together for the last two years as we worked on our CD,” explained Terry. “During that time we’ve had the opportunity to perform at the Travis Tritt concert last summer at Fair Oaks farms, as well as maintain our weekly show on Sundays from 8pm-12am at Goodfellas in Cedar Lake.” The release of their first CD has been a long time coming for Bad Cadillac, and they are excited that it has finally come to fruition. They also say they are lucky that their Keyboardist has been able to play such an integral role in making this happen. “Bill Hayden also does video production, so all the singles from the CD will have a video release,” Terry stated. “Our first video release Fade to Rust has had over 100,000 views to date. We plan on releasing one video a month

If you want to be a part of the big CD release party, head on over to Goodfellas in Cedar Lake on Sunday, April 28th from 7pm-12am. At this big party, their will be CD and merchandise giveaways.
