Neighborhood Chef Robb Henderson with

Many of you may remember Vestal Graduate Robb Henderson from some years back. Robb was one of the areas Track & Cross Country stars who's mile run times were sure to convince all that this kid would go to the Olympics. But after graduation Robb took a different path and enlisted in the Air Force. He was stationed out west and has lived there ever since which may have lent a thought to a friend or two of whatever happened to him. Well Robb is now living in Arizona,. He runs an automotive service company and is one day soon to open his own food establishment. If you were to go to his FB page you'll see dish after dish he has prepared, all under the title of The On Deck Chef.... meaning he's going to be up at bat soon to try to make a hit with his cooking. Talking to Robb you know he has three passions in life; cooking, cars and most of all his kids and grand kids. Being a Father and Grandfather is everything to him. And so ends our introduction for my friend Robb as he shares with us one of his favorite recipes for the summer to enjoy. Thanks Robb!

It's been a few years now since walking the halls of Vestal High. Although I grew up in Vestal I was actually born in Virginia and lived there till I was seven. And now I am out west. The one thing that can’t be mistaken no matter where you live is people love good food everywhere. Fortunately for me I love to cook. Simple comfort food is what works for me. And it needs to look as good as it tastes. But the real joy in it is just making people happy. A lot of my recipes are family recipes that go back 100 years. The recipe I have here is simple with a lot of love. I hope you all like it. I really miss the area and would like to wish everyone in the Triple Cities a great summer! Your friend, Robb

Coat a skillet with Olive Oil on Medium Heat. Add ground beef and cook for 5 minutes. Next mix in seasoning, salt, pepper & worcestershire as you go. Cook until brown. Warm tortillas at lowest temp in oven, or lightly dip them in water & warm on an oiled skillet at med heat for 10 seconds per side. Double stack your tortillas and add ground beef mixture. Top with shredded cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, salsa & sour cream. Enjoy!
