Remembering Noah Farrelly

For the 5th year now a wonderful event has been held on the Southside of Binghamton at Macarthur Park in tribute to one of Binghamton's nicest sons and a truly great athlete, Noah Farrelly. The Noah Farrelly Run & Southside Field Days celebrates 'things Noah loved most'. A member of Stony Brook's Cross Country Team, Noah was a Southern Tier Athletic Conference All-Star in 2015 and 2017 while a member of the Track & Field and Cross Country teams at Binghamton High School, He was a 2018 Section 4 Indoor Track 3,200-meter champion, a 2018 Section 4 Outdoor Track 3,200-meter champion and fourtime state meet qualifier. It's easy to take notice of all his incredible running accomplishments as well as the incredible person all knew him to be. Each year so many friends and teammates of his come out to celebrate Noah as does the community in what has become one of the greatest events in the area as well as the largest 5k race around. As has been the case in other years Noah's Teammates from Stony Brook all crossed the finish line together in first place in tribute to Noah. A sight honoring Noah and giving testament to his great friends. Besides the 5k & 10k runs there was also a kids' fun run, a kickball tournament, basket raffles, fabulous local food, music, and a Kids' Fun Zone all to help the Memorial Fund award scholarships, donate new running sneakers, provide a road safety identification program and encourage organ donation. Our thanks to Noah's family & friends for organizing such a tremendous event for all! And here's to you Noah...God Bless!
