Message from the Truckee Chamber of Commerce We are passionate about Truckee—about helping businesses grow and thrive to create a community where people want to live, work and play— where we raise our families and make a difference. We do that through a shared passion for the outdoors, through connecting people, building relationships, developing ways to share successes and by creating events and programs that make our business community smarter, more innovative and prosperous. The strength of any organization lies in its members who are the heart and soul of our Chamber. This directory provides information about 600 businesses that recognizes strength in numbers is important for the Chamber, Truckee’s largest business organization. We encourage you to support the businesses listed within this directory. And we thank our members for their partnership with the Chamber to help make our community a better place to live and do business. The Chamber is committed to embracing change and ensuring that the organization stays fresh and relevant. To that end, in 2015–2016, the Chamber steered a Place- Based Marketing Initiative. Funded by the Town of Truckee, Public-Private Partnerships and with significant community input through workshops and surveys, we are proud to unveil the newly created Truckee Brand Identity through this year’s directory. As a town, we also collectively identified our core values, pillars, voice, tone and promise.
