AUGUST! It’s funny how time can slip away. All of a sudden it’s August and there no longer seems to be an endless amount of time left to do all the things I want to get done before the snow flies. I’m going to feel pretty stupid if I’m shoveling our long driveway this November because I never got to the maintenance our plow truck needs. Deadlines like the coming of snow can spur us into action. Unfortunately, we often don’t have a deadline for getting into shape or losing some needed weight. It’s easy to ignore it and let time pass until your back goes out or you’re told that you now have diabetes. Exercise, like maintaining our vehicles, is just one of those things we just have to do if we want to avoid a breakdown sooner or later.
