The statement of Iblis concerning the Straight Way of Allah : somehow not studied as it ought to be.

The above verse is a covenant from Satan (Iblis) to Allah that he will, undoubtedly sit on Allah’s Straight Path. We should understand that Iblis is clever enough to attack those who have already engaged themselves on the Straight Way. In this verse, Iblis does not say that he sits on someone else straight path. If someone says that he is on the straight path and he never undergo tests and never meets with Iblis, he can’t claim to be on the Straight Way of Allah. The equation is quite obvious: Satan blamed Allah to be put in error, and he wants to put those who are on Allah’s Straight Way, in error. If someone is already in error there is no need for Iblis to sit for him on Allah’s Straight Path. The Straight Way of Allah: According to some verses of the Quran, we will identify the Straight Way of Allah. Surah 3 v 51: “Surely, Allah is my Lord and your lord; so serve Him alone. This is the Straight Way.” In this verse, it is Jesus (A.S.) who said that, to serve Allah exclusively, is the Straight Way. Using our consciousness, awareness and abilities given by Allah Himself and to put all these in Allah’s servitude, is surely the Straight Way. Surah 19 v 36: (Jesus had said): “Indeed Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so serve Him alone. This is the Straight Way.” Allah's Religion of Islamic Monotheism which He did ordain for all of His Prophets. And to serve Allah alone is the reason to why Allah created humans and Djinns. In Surah 36 v 60-61, Allah says what means: “Children of Adam, did I not command you not to serve Satan – He is to you an open enemy.” And serve Me (Allah) alone: This is the Straight Way.

In this verse, the rejection of serving Satan (and all systems which are not governed by Allah’s Law), is the Straight Way, besides to worship Allah exclusively. Surah 43 v 43: So hold fast to what has been revealed to you. Surely you are on the Straight Way. To hold firmly to the Qur’an, to obey its rules and to follow its teachings, and to implement what Allah’s revealed, is the Straight Way. So we can say that, as soon as one follows the instructions of the Qur’aan, he is on the Straight Way. So, any person who stands on the Straight Path of Allah would surely meets Satan. In surah 6 as from verse no. 151 to 153, there are several rules and what Allah has forbidden: 151: Say, "Come, I will recite what your Lord has prohibited to you. [He commands] that you (i)not associate anything with Him, and (ii)to parents, good treatment, and (iii)do not kill your children out of poverty; We will provide for you and them. And (iv)do not approach immoralities - what is apparent of them and what is concealed. And (v)do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed] except by [legal] right. This has He instructed you that you may use reason." 152: And (vi)do not approach the orphan's property except in a way that is best until he reaches maturity. And (vii)give full measure and weight in justice. We do not charge any soul except [with that within] its capacity. And (viii)when you testify, be just, even if [it concerns] a near relative. (ix)And the covenant of Allah fulfill. This has He instructed you that you may remember. 153: And, [moreover], this is My path, which is straight, so follow it; and do not follow [other] ways, for you will be separated from His way. This has He instructed you that you may become righteous. Conclusion: The point to be noted here is that Allah gives instructions to do and orders us to follow, but also, He told us not to follow paths which divide people in many directions (sects) from that of Allah’s Straight Path. Nowadays, many are claiming to be on straight paths: many have been divided into sects and scattered in directions other than that Straight Path of Allah. Once they are performing swalaat, paying zakaat, performing Hajj or fast during Ramadwan, they have the perception to be on the right way. The pillars of Islam are obligations when one declares to be a Muslim, but these are also conditions that a Muslim should fulfill to build up his personality so that he could, then apply his acquired characteristics and abilities to fulfill what Allah asks in the above verses.

Anyone who claims to be on Straight Paths should be only on Allah’s Straight path and not on whatsoever labeled sect’s or group’s paths. Anyone who claims to be on the Straight Path should be in line with what Allah orders in the above mentioned verses. It will be then Allah considers you to be on His Straight Paths and by consequence, be eligible to face Iblis on the way, because Iblis surely sits on Allah’s Straight Path. If you are not in conformation with Allah’s verses, Allah Himself splits you into sects: Surah 6 verse 65: “Say, "He is the [one] Able to send upon you affliction from above you or from beneath your feet or to confuse you [so you become] sects and make you taste the violence of one another." Look how We diversify the signs that they might understand.
