Translate design concepts into executable shop drawings through value engineering and thorough communication. Use 3D software for complex geometries in order to produce quality fabrication documents. Create cut files for CNC-machining, water-jet cutting, laser-cutting, moldings, and castings. Design electrical schematics for illuminated signage and architectural elements to meet designer needs, such as showset controlled lighting, and themed LED requirements. Manage and prioritize multiple projects at once and efficiently revise drawings per client comments to produce production drawings in a timely manner and meet installation deadlines. Gather all resources required, connect with applicable vendors, and collaborate with peers to discover innovative solutions and provide new perspectives. Support project management in providing engineering feedback and concerns pertaining to client concepts, available products, and fabricator insight.
