2016 TCS NYC Marathon

The CT Challenge (CTC) is a non/profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of the millions of cancer survivors in the U.S. Focusing on customized fitness, nutrition, wellness and community support programs, the CT Challenge delivers the actionable knowledge and hands/on help cancer survivors need to rebuild their lives when treatment ends. The CTC opened the Center for Survivorship in Southport, CT in 2013 as an incubator for best practices in cancer survivorship care. The minimum fundraising commitment level for participation in the program is $2,500, plus payment of the TCS NYC Marathon registration fee ($255). Additional fundraising is not required, but there are additional incentives for surpassing higher fundraising thresholds.

Level 1: $2,500 ▪ Guaranteed entry into the 2016 TCS NYC Marathon* ▪ Your choice of either a Team CT Challenge running singlet or shirt ▪ Opportunity to utilize, at no expense, the New York Road Runners’ online marathon training program.

* Runners must register for the TCS NYC Marathon before September 15 and are responsible for paying their own race entry fee ($255). Level 2: $5,000 (Runners must commit in advance to this fundraising level.) All of the above, plus the following: ▪ Full Running KIT including; ▪ Running jacket, long sleeve technical shirt and running shorts • Paid registration fee to the 2015 TCS NYC Marathon ($255 value) Level 3: $10,000 (Runners must commit in advance to this fundraising level.) All of the above, plus the following: • Two nights stay (room & tax) at hotel of your choice on marathon weekend (max. value of $500) OR a GPS Training Watch of your choice (max. value $500)


Program Requirements: •

Runners complete and pay for their race entry on the New York Road Runners’ Charity Entry System. Runners must then, separately, register for Team CT Challenge at http://crowdrise.com/ctchallenge.

A runners’ participation in the program is not final until he/she registers on the CT Challenge fundraising website and provides credit card information to guarantee the fundraising commitment.

Each runner is responsible for fulfilling their minimum fundraising commitment of $2,500 regardless of any outside factor that may hinder your actual running in the 2015 TCS NYC Marathon.

Fundraising minimums must be met by day of the race, November 6, 2016. After that date, any remaining balance will be charged to the credit card provided at the time of registration.
