Berry Head Bat Walk 27 June, 25 July

A unique opportunity to see the rare Greater Horseshoe bats at Berry Head. You will begin by observing the bats in their roost using the Visitor Centre camera. Then you will take a walk, looking at how cows help to feed the bats, before watching the spectacle of the bats emerging from their roost – tuning in with bat detectors to hear their calls. Torbay Half Marathon, Paignton 29 June

event. The race takes a traffic free two lap route which starts and finishes on Paignton seafront, taking in the stunning coastal views across Torbay. It starts with one lap of Paignton Green before heading towards Torquay, where the course passes the historic Torre Abbey and the Princess Gardens before the return leg to Paignton begins.
