Makin’ Spam Slice the spam into as many elegant slices as your big brain can dream of Soak your spam with your desired marinade for a short 15 minutes Fry the spam thoroughly on both of the amazing sides Are we swimming in the ocean? Or is the ocean swimming with us? Cook your chosen rice and the amount you would like to make After you are finished add a block of rice and wrap in a nori Add your spam to the top of your rice and…. Wrap your musubi with the ends of the nori Are we eating it? Or is it eating us? If you are taking on the go wrap it up in the infamous saran wrap That your mom used to wrap your home lunch with The perfect mix of salty and plain The spam is just enough meat Sometimes add a little extra Maybe some furikake

Normandy Uncle Robbie- Hey bud, you made it in one piece. This is where troops from Britain, The U.S., Canada, and France. If you didn’t catch on, this is Normandy, France.

Julian- Always wanted to go to France and now I’m here. I thought when I would finally come here it would be all city and old buildings, but it seems pretty dang nice. So what happened here? I know it has something to do with World War Two and the Holocaust.

Uncle Robbie- Obviously you didn’t pay attention earlier. I’ll repeat this one more time ok? Listen now, this is where troops from Britain, The U.S., Canada, and France landed on what was called “D-Day”.

Julian- Why is it called “D-Day”? Does the “D” stand for something significant, like a famous general who was leading troops into Normandy?

8

Uncle Robbie- No, there’s nothing special about the name. Just what the military called it, you know they always have specific names for days and important events. Although the name doesn’t have a special meaning attached to it, this was a turning point in World War 2 and the Holocaust.

Julian- Yeah, D-Day forced Germans to fight in the war once again. Also, I read that some soldiers would kill themselves because they would rather do that than surrender.

Uncle Robbie- Indeed they did, at least that’s what I’ve heard. They didn’t want to seem weak and show that their country is vulnerable. What would you do if you were in their position? I mean like it was such a stressful time and you gotta do what you gotta do. Plus at this point, if you’re on the Nazi side, you are and will always be hated by the rest of the world because of what the Nazis have done.

Julian- Yeah, I guess. Would you rather be hated for the rest of your life and that’s only if you survive the war. Or, would you just like to be wiped off of this world within a matter of minutes?

Uncle Robbie- Okay let’s swerve away from that topic because I have some questions that you might know the answer to. Did all the allies attack the same area or was it spread along the whole coast? If the latter, how long was the area that they attacked and where did the Germans attack from?

9

Julian- Those questions my friend, I mean uncle are for another day.

Uncle Robbie- Is that your way of saying “I have no idea what you're talking about”. It’s okay I obviously don’t even know the answer. We’ll just head over to handy-dandy, good ole’, reliable Google, the search engine.

Julian- I guess we will Uncle, ¡Adios!

Uncle Robbie- Oh, usted fue todo español en mí allí, jajaja. ¡Adiós!

Trust-in I’m always right. These people say I go to Iao school, no I go to e-owwww school. They know nothing about me. My name is not Trustin, it’s Trust-in, of course. Who would ever get it wrong? I bet they don’t even know their first and last names as I do. Trust-In God, yep my name is Trust-In God. We don’t talk about my last name though, I forget what it is. God is my middle name. I’m not Christian though, they just thought it would be cool when the flight attendants yell out my name and they say “Trust In God'' or at the doctors when they call your name for you to come to the small condensed room. Well, basically anywhere they need to call out my name, they just thought it would make people laugh. Yeah anyway, I’m ALWAYS right and no one can tell me differently. I have the sickest gaming setup ever! It’s right by my dining table! I don’t even have to really get up to eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Anyways, my rig contains a 1050 ti, the best graphics card on the market, at least that’s what my parents said. It also has RGB!
