Asset Condition & Assessment & Overhaul Program:

• Performed analytics using Tableau to identify trends and historical details on oil conditions, Bus Asset Condition Assessments.

• Support CMO functions in Shop Planning, MDBF improvements and other projects utilizing Asset Condition Assessment

• Working on expanding Bentley Asset Performance Management Program functionalities to support DOB’s “Overhaul Reimagining”project.

• Utilize Asset Condition Assessment Program to target major maintenance interventions and overhauls.

• Completed Physical Assessments of two fleets and incorporated data assessment to develop Fleet Condition Ratings

Prognostic Maintenance and Engine Life Predication:

• Set up a commercial contract to implement prognostic maintenance for DOB with a focus to improve customer experience and optimize maintenance.

• Rolled out prognostic services from PreTeckt on 1527 diesel buses with plans to expand to ~4200 diesels by end of year.

• Setting up RFP to explore the market on other prognostics service providers

• Awarded our Engine Life Prediction Proof-of-Concept contract granted to predict end of life expectancy and optimization and maintenance for assets.

• Providing data on ~3400 buses to PreTeckt for Engine Life Prediction model development.

• Engine Life Prediction still in its infancy stage

Engine Maintenance Strategy:

• Continue monitoring Engine Failure Model and Replacement Strategy.

• 2023 YTD engine replacement trends below forecast

LIRR | LONG ISLAND RAIL ROAD

• Truck RUL forecasting model is built to estimate the amount of time truck components will likely function effectively before it becomes unusable or requires significant repairs or replacement. Model is being optimized and expanded to a global component model to forecast all components.

• EAM Train Performance Dashboard provides insights on train movement information. The Transportation department can leverage for schedule building.

MNR | METRO-NORTH RAILROAD

• Reinstated C&D funding for Track Deterioration Modeling in Bentley.

• 3 EAM pilot projects with Pavcon, Throughput and WiTronix in partnership with Transit Tech Lab to improve data analytics and decision making.
