In the area of environmental litigation, Mr Stenderup Jensen has been heavily involved in advising on the provision of utility services (water, waste water and central heating) for the data centres that Google, Apple and Facebook have set up in Denmark. According to Mr Stenderup Jensen, the magnitude of these data centres and their need for water for cooling, for example, constitute new legal problems, wherein SIRIUS advokater has been able to provide legal advice to resolve such matters. Moreover, in the past 12 months, the firm has won a number of court cases regarding issues of principle for the utility sector. In late 2018, the firm moved to larger offices that will enable its expert advisers to expand their business, which was necessitated due to increased demand.
