Team Member Wows!

We wanted to inform you of some exciting staffing updates within our Behavioral Health department.

Firstly, Marquita Martin, who has been the Embedded BH Specialist for the NE Medical Home for over 8 years now, will be transitioning to the Southeast Medical Home and taking over Kim Thrasher's role. Marquita’s experience and expertise will be an asset to any clinic, and although the providers at NE Medical Home will miss her, we are excited for her new challenge and shorter commute.

Furthermore, Heather Mccurry, who is currently a BH Counselor for PHP at Viola Pitts, has accepted a position as an Individual Therapist at Viola Pitts. Vanessa Olson, our current PRN Behavioral Health Specialist, has accepted a full-time position as a BH Counselor at the Viola Pitts location.

In addition, Miyori Pullen will be joining our team on May 1 as the newest PRN Behavioral Health Specialist, and Jane King Wamuyu will be our full-time therapist for True Worth and Healing Wings, beginning in June.

We have also hired Shaterra Davis as an RN for PHP at Central Arlington Clinic. Shaterra will be in PHP starting early April. And, Alyssa Weaver will be transferring from inpatient on April 17 to be the new PHP RN at CBHR.

TCHATT is thrilled to announce that Christi Weaver has joined us as the new TCHATT Team Lead (see back for bio.) In addition, we have recently welcomed two new therapists to the TCHATT team: Patty Ragan and Lacreshia Franklin. Patty has experience in telehealth with children, while Lacreshia has worked with children in the foster care system and has solid hospital experience. Furthermore, we are pleased to announce Heather Zipper will be transitioning from her role as TCHATT Case Manager to TCHATT Therapist.

Heather has been an invaluable resource for TCHATT over the last year and we are excited to have her as one of our therapists. We are also welcoming Shelly Louis, Claudine Mukanyamwasa, and “Jay” Lopez to our TCHATT team as Case Managers. Each brings unique experiences to help round out our Case Management team.

We are excited to see how these staffing updates will benefit our team and the patients we serve. Please join us in welcoming our new team members and congratulating those who are transitioning to new roles.
