On Tuesday, June 3, thirty-six beaming Pre-Kindergarten students at Washington District Elementary participated in a promotion ceremony to the delight of proud parents and grandparents. Children were applauded for their academic and social achievements. Each student received a diploma presented by their Assistant Principal, Mr. Bowen, and a special award from their respective teachers, Miss Kowalczyk and Mrs. Hutt. Teaching assistants, Ms. Thompson and Mrs. Smith, were also recognized for their efforts working with the students throughout the school year.
