DILG-CSO/PS PARTNERSHIP IN ENHANCING TRANSPARENCY THE following are the DILG partnerships forged with Civil Society Organizations (CSOs): DILG Cebu Province: Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. (RAFI) for Capability Building with and for Moral Recovery Programs for barangay officials with National Auxiliary Chaplaincy Philippines, Inc. (NACPHIL). DILG-Bohol Province: Provincial Government of Bohol through the Provincial Roads Management Facility (PMRF) with the CSOs and POs for the Adopt a Road Program . DILG-Negros Oriental Province: Negros Oriental State University (NORSU)-Siaton Campus with the Municipality of Siaton, Negros Oriental for the enhancement training of the municipality’s bararangay officials.
PUBLIC AND PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP (PPP) DILG7 conducted an orientation on Public and Private Partnership (PPP) with the region’s focal persons on PPP on December 20 at the DILG Region VII Training Center, Sudlon, Lahug, Cebu City. The PPP orientation aimed to build the knowledge base of the DILG7 focal persons on Public-Private Partnerships, particularly on national/local government PPP programs and the roles and responsibilities of DILG in local PPP promotion and implementation. It is an initiative of Secretary Jesse M. Robredo in view of the local economic development program of the Department that is aligned with the PPP Program of President Benigno S Aquino III.
