"White” Clown.

Coordinated inspired by the "White Clown / Pierrot, with a touch of streetwear inspired by the street theater.

This coordinate is composed of a T-shirt in cotton, with embroidery e ect 3D and application of crystals. Jeans inspired by clowns pants, patchwork with denim and various materials used in the collection such as organza and embroidered fabric with "Astrakan" appearance.

“August” Clown.

Coordinated inspired by the Palhaço Augusto.

Of an extravagant, absurd, peckish, surprising character, it represented freedom and anarchy, the infantile world. His character led me to create a print that would characterize this clown, a cotton knit tshirt, hand-painted with a circus theme with application of stones and crystals. Skirt inspired by the trousers of clown, patchwork with denim and varied materials used in the collection.

Magician.

Coordinate inspired by the Magical Circenses / Illusionist, from a book dated 1584 by Reginal Scot titled: "The Discovery of Witchcraft". A silk Velvet sweater, embroidered with Zodiac motifs with a back that shows a system of ropes and eyelets, appearance as a corset. On it, drops a "Jabô" that refers to the covers used by the Magicians in their numbers of magic. Wide skirt, generously shaped "godé", in Duchesse silk and nished with a silk organza hemline attached to the lining giving the double-skirt appearance evoking the gypsies' skirts with several layers or even the women's skirts of the 19th century, strongly represented in this collection.

Fortune Teller.

Coordinated inspired by the People of ethnic Gypsy and in their creations. Forecasts for the future are by reading cards (Tarot or Cartomancy), hands line reading or crystal ball. Silk velvet sweater with engraving inspired by tarot cards, with embroidery of crystals and gemstones throughout the piece, thus recreating a starry sky in a night of moonlight. Skirt, double-faced silk satin with a tail at the back of the skirt creating a goddess e ect by referring to the multi-layered skirts worn by gypsy women.

Porcelain belt inspired by the work of the plastic artist, Juliette Clovis.

Inspired by the belts used by the circus "strong men" in their weightlifting performances.

Elephant Trainer.

Coordinated inspired by the famous photo of Richard Avedon: “Dovima with Elephants“, from 1955, with model Dovima, wearing a Dior dress and interacting with elephants of a circus a “Tailleur” in embroidered fabric with "Astrakan" appearance embroidered with circus motifs and velvet ribbon application causing the sensation of hanging ags in circuses. Pleated detailing on the back by string and eyelet system, inspired by the "corsets" used by women in the 19th century. Shorts inspired by the circus artist in the category of the “strongwoman” Miss Charmion, the rst woman bodybuilder in history, with cuts prolonging the bodice e ect.

Dress in pebbles and sequins. Metal bowl with porcelain owers at the ends, in the neckline, inspired by the bars used for acrobatics. Embroidery with motifs of vintage circus acrobatics. Classic-cut “Saint-tropez” silk trousers.

Trapeze.

Coordinated inspired by William Saroyan's song "The Daring Young Man on the Flying Trapeze" and the one that may have served as inspiration for this theme, the acrobat professional, Jules Léotard (1839-1870).

Body with sleeve draped in a fabric made with of stones and sequins. Metal bar with porcelain owers at the ends, in the neckline, inspired by the bars used by the acrobats. The detail on the back with the strings used by the acrobats tightening by a system of eyelets through which the cords pass, referring to the bodices as well as the cuts in the piece.

Silk organza trousers painted with Zodiac motifs and with an application of stones and crystals forming the constella tions.

Metal bar with porcelain owers at its ends, inspired by the bars used by trapeze acrobats.

Knife Thrower.

Coordinate inspired by the brothers Arcaris & sister Miss Rose Arcaris early 20th century. Bustier in stones, crystals, and sequin with cuts referring to the corsets used by Miss Rose Arcadis in its performances. She wears silk organza, giving transparency e ect inspired by the legs always discovered by these performers. Zodiac motifs painted on the skirt with embroidery of stones and crystals.

The shorts, also inspired by Miss Arcaris' costumes with cuts, referring to the corsets worn by the women of this time. Porcelain belt inspired by the work of Juliette Clovis thus reminiscent of the belts worn by the “strongman” circuses.

Inspired by the belts used by the circus "strongmen" in their weightlifting performances.

Hipnotist.

Coordinated inspired by the lm "The Dark Tower", dating back to 1920, by director John Harlow. The actress of this lm, Anne Crawford, was a source of inspiration for an asymmetric "St-Tro pez" silk dress with a sharp lateral streak, and a layer of silk tulle embroidered with astrological motifs in stones and crystals. The shorts came by inspiration from "Darling Cupid" Burlesque, a circus performer of exotic dances from the 19th Century.

Lion Tamer.

Coordinated inspired by fearless Lion Tamers. Composed by Dress and "Bolero", came by inspiration to the Blazers used by these circus artists and that divided into two pieces. His material, stones, and Crystals applied on a fabric base, red tone, reminis cent of the ames of a re by which the lions are led to jump and the color very present in the circus environment. "Bolero" with opening at the back of the sleeve, revealing the elbows. Structured dress, with cuts that create an illusion of dress girded due to the corset, of the 19th century, with a hidden pocket in the lateral cuts, thus enhancing the illusion of blazer.
