Es zieht uns ins Grüne, das liegt in unserer Natur, doch wir wohnen in Städten und starren die Wand an. Das Label Urbanature schließt mit seinen Produkten auch im Alltag die Lücke zwischen Stadtleben und der Sehnsucht nach dem Ursprünglichen.

We are drawn to the natural world. It’s in our nature. And yet we live in cities and stare at the walls. With its products, the label U rbanature fills the gap in everyday life between city living and the longing for something more primal.

Das Label urbanature, das sind die Ideen des Produktdesigners Jörg Brachmann. Es wurde Anfang 2013 gegründet. Inspiriert durch die enge Bindung zur Natur, eine Leidenschaft fürs Kochen und ein Auge für das Besondere, entstehen seine Entwürfe. Im eigenen Studio am Stadtrand von Leipzig werden die Ideen als Prototyp realisiert, perfektioniert und später in den eigenen Werkstätten in Serie hergestellt. In Zusammenarbeit mit regionalen Handwerksbetrieben werden Lösungen erarbeitet, die eine wirtschaftliche und quallitativ hochwertige Herstellung der Produkte ermöglichen. Verwendet werden Hölzer aus nachhaltiger Forstwirtschaft und recycelbaren Materialien bis hin zur Verpackung.

The label urbanature is a selection of product designer Jörg Brachmann’s ideas. It was founded in early 2013. His designs are inspired by a strong affinity with nature and a passion for cooking, and he has a real eye for the extraordinary. He turns his ideas into prototypes in his own studio on the outskirts of Leipzig, where he then perfects them before creating product series in his own workshops. In collaboration with regional craft specialists, he develops solutions that allow his products to be manufactured in a way that is both economical and high-quality. He uses wood from sustainable forests as well as recyclable materials – even for the packaging.

Der Hochgarten ist für alle Topfpflanzen mit einem Durchmesser von maximal 13 cm geeignet. Verschiedenste Pflanzen können im Innen- und Außenbereich auf Augenhöhe präsentiert werden. Ein Blickfang in Küche, Diele oder Großraumbüro - Blütenduft in Nasenhöhe: Der Hochgarten erzeugt Atmosphäre. Durch die enge Anordnung der fünf Übertöpfe und die besonderen Eigenschaften des Betonmaterials entsteht ein Mikroklima. Die Verdunstung wird reduziert. Ein eigens dafür entwickeltes Gießverfahren ermöglicht eine Betonwandung von sensationellen 7 mm.

Hochgarten indoor & outdoor The Hochgarten is suitable for all pot plants up to 13 cm across. Use it to present all sorts of plants, indoors and out. A real eyecatcher in the kitchen, hallway or openplan office – and a floral scent to greet you: the Raised Garden generates a certain atmosphere. Together with the special properties of the concrete material, the close arrangement of the five cachepots creates a micro-climate. Evaporation is kept to a minimum. A specially developed casting process allows for a concrete wall that is a sensational 7 mm thick.

Urbanature hat nachgedacht und ein neues Produkt entwickelt - den Vertical Garden. Die Pflanzgestelle funktionieren Innen wie Außen. Und ist die Balkonsaison vorbei, klappt man den Scherenbeschlag zusammen und trägt ihn in den Keller, sollte man keinen Platz in Küche oder Wohnzimmer haben. Die Pflanzkästen sind robust und leicht. Natürlich auch geeignet für Zierpflanzen. Den Vertical Garden gibt es in drei Größen.

Der Hängegarten ist eine Wandbegrünung für den Innenraum. Auf einfache Weise können Zier- aber auch Nutzpflanzen in Szene gesetzt werden. Die Pflanzröhren hängen zwischen zwei Stahlseilen und sind abnehm- sowie höhenverstellbar. Horizontal kann der Hängegarten zu mehreren Feldern erweitert werden.

The Hanging Garden lets you green your walls indoors. It’s a simple yet effective way to draw attention to your ornamental or edible plants. The plant pipes are suspended between two steel cables and can be removed and their height adjusted. The Hanging Garden can be extended horizontally to cover more than one vertical section.
