Set in an enchanting destination only two and a half hours from Sydney, Mantra Nelson Bay is a relaxed holiday resort featuring apartment style accommodation with a central location. Mantra Nelson Bay’s 110 apartments are spread across three buildings all nestled around a central lagoon pool with cascading waterfall and children’s water fountain area.

The accommodation offers a selection of self-contained two and three bedroom apartments and penthouses, all within walking distance of everything Nelson Bay has to offer including a 27-hole golf course and a variety of amenities and activities. Mantra Nelson Bay is close to everything your heart desires, including beautiful beaches, shopping, spa treatments, elegant restaurants and sidewalk cafés.

Situated on the southern coastline of Port Stephens, Nelson Bay offers a range of activities. Spend your days perusing the many shops on offer and stop into any one of the numerous cafés and restaurants which are dotted around the streets of Nelson Bay and serve a wide variety of cuisine.

For a little adventure, Nelson Bay offers many activities on the waterways with a variety of cruises available or try your hand at some deep sea fishing or jump on a cruise for dolphin and whale watching. Located on Australia’s east coast, Nelson Bay provides one of the best vantage points to watch Humpback Whales on their trip up north with more than 3,000 of the majestic creatures passing through the waters of Port Stephens every year.

Be mesmerised by the beauty and size of the Stockton Sand Dunes, the largest moving sand mass in the southern hemisphere and have some fun on a tour with Sandboarding Australia @ 4WD Tours R Us. Conquering the dunes which can reach a whopping 50 metres in height is a must do activity! We are a family owned company with passionate local guides, keen to share their knowledge of the amazing landscape and make sure you have a great time. Bay Harbour Café is a family friendly restaurant on the wharf at Port Stephens with both indoor and outdoor seating and magnificent water views.
