La Casa de las Campanas -llamada así por haber sido una fundición de campanas- es un antiguo palacete de origen medieval con elementos mudéjares que está decorado con formas vegetales semejantes a las empleadas en el arte islámico. El inmueble alberga gran cantidad de plantas diferentes, entre las que no faltan begonias, pendientes de la reina o jazmines. Vuelve este año al concurso municipal. The La Casa de las Campanas – so named because it was once a bell foundry – is an ancient mansion dating back to medieval times; with Mudejar features, such as its portico, it is decorated with plant designs that are similar to those employed in Islamic art. The building is home to a wide range of plant species, including begonias, fuchsias, yellow jasmine, Japanese pittosporum, hibiscus, geraniums and ivy-leaf geraniums. It returns to the municipal competition.

Este edificio, situado en la plaza del mismo nombre, es el prototipo de una vivienda popular de los siglos XIV y XV. Llamadas coloquialmente corrales, las estancias se disponen en torno a un patio común presidido por un pozo. Se trata de uno de los lugares cordobeses preferidos por Cervantes tanto en su vida como en su obra, pues además de hospedarse en él, le sirvió de escenario para algunas obras. This building, situated in the square of the same name, is an exemplary instance of a type of popular dwelling dating from the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries. Known colloquially as corrales, the rooms are arranged around a central shared patio dominated by a well. It is one of the Córdoba locations most favoured by Cervantes, both in real life and in his literary output: not only did he lodge in the building, he also used it as the backdrop for some of his stories.
