2. Place your index finger against your lips, and say shshshsh.
3. Trace the cut out ‹sh› with your finger.
4. Listen for the /sh/ in ship, sheep, shark, shoes, shells, shadows, fish, t-shirt, shorts, brush, shelves, and shapes, and find the items in the picture.
5. Read the words.

2. Pretend to be a rude clown. Stick your tongue out a little for th (as in this) and further for th (as in thumb).
3. Trace the cut out ‹th› with a finger.

4. Listen for the voiced /th/ in feather, father, mother, and clothes, and the unvoiced /th/ in thumb, thin (clown), moth, cloth, three, and teeth, and find the items in the picture.
5. Read the words.
