The younger crowd may not be familiar with every one, but, at some point, each of these designs was instantly recognizable as Zippy’s.
O R I G I N A L L O G O | 1966 Those who have been going to Zippy’s since the beginning will instantly recognize the original, classic Zippy’s logo, which had a long-tailed “Z” surrounded by red dots on a white background. The Moki Man, official Zippy’s mascot, was often featured with it.
T he Logos
As Zippy’s evolved, logos and marketing were updated to better represent the brand. Each look is distinctive and a reflection of key points in Zippy’s history as the company grew in size and success.
R E V I S E D L O G O | 1975 To modernize the brand’s look, the logo was updated with a more current font. The red, white and black color scheme was nixed, replaced by orange and brown as the new dominant colors. Instead of the Moki Man, the logo included rounded orange squares for a more professional look. This logo was used for decades and was the design most associated with Zippy’s.

C U R R E N T L O G O | 2004 Keeping the font unchanged, the brand returned to the original colors of red, white and black. The orange rounded squares were replaced with a single red dot with a “Z” in the center. This logo was created to be instantly recognizable with or without the Zippy’s name, as the brand had begun to expand business beyond its restaurants.
